A PRAYER TO BE SAID BY CHILDREN

Sweetest Jesus, who, being subject as a child to Mary and

Joseph at Nazareth, didst leave to children an excellent

pattern of affection and obedience to parents,

and of wondrous reverence  for all men, grant,

I most earnestly beseech Thee, that I may strive

to see Thee always and in all things,

so that as my years increase,

I too may increase in Thy grace and love:

Who livest and reignest world without end.

Amen.

An indulgence of 300 days
(Apostolic Brief, June 25, 1924; S.P. Ap., May 20, 1937)
